NICHOLLE BEAUMONT, L.M.T. Eastern Connecticut Massage Therapy is owned and operated by Nicholle Beaumont, a licensed massage therapist who understands the value of relaxation and strives to share its benefits with her clients. Before opening her own business, Nicholle worked at an internationally renowned spa where her clientele included celebrities and other VIPs. She learned the value of working with different body types and people with unique personalities and cultural backgrounds. Each client helped her hone her skills as a massage therapist and deepened her commitment to her work. Nicholle offers the following types of massage:

• Swedish massage - where she uses long strokes, kneading and friction on the muscles, moving the joints to improve flexibility


• Deep tissue massage - where she uses patterned strokes and deep finger pressure on those parts of the body that are tight or knotted, focusing on the layers of muscle that lie deep beneath the skin


• Pregnancy massage - through which she can help provide relief from muscle cramps, spasms and myofascial pain, especially in the lower back, neck, hips and legs


• Hot stone massage - where she places flat, smooth stones that are heated on key parts of the body, allowing the heat to warm and relax the muscles


• Chair massage - a shorter massage through which she focuses on key tension areas in the back, neck, shoulders and arms while the client sits in a special chair

Each of these forms of massage can help ease the tension that stems from stress and everyday activities. Massage can diminish or completely alleviate pain from such stressors. In addition, massage can help with overworked muscles, aches and pains, headaches, spasms and cramps. Massage services are available at the Eastern Connecticut Massage Therapy center and Nicholle will also perform massage at small parties upon request.
